Ishmael Ebhodaghe is the Founder/Principal Partner and Head of Corporate and Commercial Group, Commercial Litigation & Alternative Dispute Resolution at Bernateva Partners. Ishmael was for five years the Group General Counsel/Company Secretary of BGL Plc, a leading Investment Banking Group, responsible for providing wide ranging legal advisory services to BGL Plc and its subsidiaries. His areas of expertise include handling regulatory compliance issues, drafting and reviewing Commercial Agreements, rendering general company secretarial services, and providing legal advice on subjects including Securities Trading, Corporate Finance, Structured Finance, Project Finance, Mergers, Acquisition, Securitization and Asset Management. Ishmael holds a Bachelor of Law degree (Second Class Upper Division) from Obafemi Awolowo University and a Barrister at Law (B.L) (Second Class Upper Division) from the Nigerian Law School.
A Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, he close to 20 years experience in providing legal and business advisory services.
